The Alanya City Tour is an enjoyable cultural and sightseeing experience conducted in open-top minibuses during the cool sunset hours, allowing you to discover Alanya’s most beautiful and noteworthy landmarks.
Throughout our tour, we’ll visit important sites including Damlataş Cave, Alanya Castle (which we’ll reach via the Alanya Cable Car and which crowns the summit of Alanya Peninsula), and the scenic viewpoint featuring the “I LOVE ALANYA” sign visible from many points in the city.
Tour Highlights:
- Damlataş Cave – Accidentally discovered during harbor construction in 1948, this cave with its 15,000-year-old stalactites and stalagmites has a fascinating atmosphere. Its name means “Dripping Stone Cave” in Turkish and it’s known to be beneficial for asthma patients.
- Cleopatra Beach – One of the world’s most famous sandy beaches, named after Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. Legend says she swam here with Roman commander Mark Antony, who gifted her this beach.
- Alanya Cable Car & Alanya Castle – You’ll ascend to the 13th-century Seljuk-built Alanya Castle via cable car to enjoy unparalleled sunset views. The castle sits magnificently 250 meters above sea level.
- Alanya Viewpoint – We’ll take photo stops at this panoramic viewpoint featuring the “I LOVE ALANYA” sign visible from nearly everywhere in the city.
